What it is

Athletic Therapy is a health care profession that specializes in the care of musculoskeletal disorders (muscles, bones, joints) as they relate to active individuals pursuing an active lifestyle. Conestoga offers free Athletic Therapy services to all Varsity Athletes. You must be on the roster of a Varsity Team to access this service.


Monday - Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • Clinical assessment of acute and chronic injuries
  • Preventative taping and bracing, rehabilitation (including manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, corrective exercises)
  • Warm and cold whirlpools.

Kristen Wells

Kristen Wells, MS, R.Kin, CAT(C)
Head Athletic Therapist

Kristen started working at Conestoga College in August 2014 to oversee and manage the sports medicine of all varsity sports teams. Prior to her time at Conestoga, Kristen completed her Master’s of Science in Athletic Training degree at Ohio University. While with the Bobcats, Kristen worked with the men's hockey team and completed her thesis focusing on the rehabilitation of concussed athletes.

Mallory Woeller

Mallory Woeller, BScKin, BAHS, CAT(C), CSCS
Assistant Athletic Therapist

Mallory graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology. While at Laurier Mallory was the starting goal tender for the varsity soccer team. Following graduation, Mallory attended Sheridan College completing her Bachelor’s of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy. Mallory played a year of varsity soccer at Sheridan and won the Strength & Conditioning award as well as Female Athlete of the Year. Mallory began working with the Condors in August 2016.
